Kubota has celebrated the 130th anniversary of its foundation by presenting the Kubota X-tractor: an electric, autonomous and artificial intelligence tractor that advances the future of the so-called "smart agriculture"
Due to the aging of the population, especially in countries such as Japan, every year that passes more farmers retire, so it is necessary to introduce smart agriculture.
That is why Kubota has created an autonomous driving tractor that, in the future, will choose which operation is best at all times, based on data such as weather information or crop growth rates.
Of course the tractor is electric which will contribute to a greater reduction of emissions also in the field, where perhaps the effect of pollution is less visible.
Its four tracks allow working on wet and very uneven terrain, as it has an engine on each wheel.
