It seems that in electric cars, the lack of noise produced by the explosion engine, makes all the cracks and groans of the structure much more heard, as well as wind and rolling noise.
Hyundai Motor has developed a technology called RANC, an active sound cancellation system that eliminates noise from outside, such as wind and road rolling.
Especially at high speeds, RANC precisely analyzes each sound and quickly calculates the magnitudes (frequency and amplitude) of the opposite wave.
Once the sound waves that are introduced into the cabin have been analyzed, the system emits physically inverse waves, which when added together, cancel out.
