They are sound asleep and WANT TO KEEP DREAMING, that’s a big part of the problem. In a lot of case's it's willful ignorance.
We don’t have time pussyfoot around anymore but the bad is so overwhelming, and unfortunately too much of the truth will send these people back into dreamland. I understand where they are coming from and can sympathize. But we don’t have time for that now.
My strategy for these people is to find one relevant issue to them and keep pulling at the string. Eventually one thing leads to another, sometimes they start thinking for themselves.
The economy should have seriously crashed in 2008, that would have awoken a bunch of people FROM the bad dream but it didn't crash and nothing was fixed.
Now when the economy does crash (it's only a matter of when) these people will wake from a bad dream INTO a nightmare.
I feel bad for that but I'm also worried about what these people will do then.
