A School superintendent in New York has been promoted despite, or is it because, she fired an official who refused her command to give the “Wakanda Forever” salute from the imaginary cinematic African paradise in celebration and submission to Black Lives Matter.
NASA Tweets joyfully over renaming its DC HQ after a black scientist. Going to Mars "can only be understood through black Americans”, says NASA. Meanwhile math and science education throughout the US is cratering and poor black kids are leading the plunge down to lower and lower test scores. And NASA delayed its return to the Moon; I suppose the Moon isn’t as much of a government appropriations money spigot as Mars.
The dismal state of education for black kids must be because of too many white and Asian students creating “inequalities”. Boston is putting a stop to that.

Public schools in Boston, Massachusetts are suspending new enrollment in an advanced study program citing concerns over “inequities” that supposedly emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to be more “anti-racist.”
Meanwhile a Virginia school district is “deprioritizing” Dr Seuss because of his “racial undertones”. Maybe Drag Queen Reading Hour for kindergarten kids will choose another author, that should help the cause.
The FBI is dislocating its shoulder from patting itself on the back over the “unprecedented speed” of its investigation of the January 6 “Storming of the Capitol” so-called “insurrection” which everybody who saw the video footage knows was staged. Seven weeks on and still the toxicology report on deceased officer Sicknick is still not done.
Gosh.
I wonder why.
Could it be that anybody who bothered to read the New York Times’ retraction knows that Sicknick was not hit on the head by anybody and he returned to work after January 6 feeling fine? Could there be some sort of pharmacological problem that caused him to die of an apparent stroke? We who paid attention to the news, unlike the FBI and Congress, found out the truth of Sicknick’s death with unprecedented speed.
Smily-Nicey California Governor Gavin Newsom has been caught with his mask down once again. He was observed to be dining indoors. California is shocked! Why, critics cry, isn’t Gavin obeying his own lockdown rules on this the 350th-something day of his lockdown of California? Nobody seems to be suggesting that the equality should go the other way by releasing Californians from house arrest and enforced unemployment. Meanwhile joy spread throughout the realm of Lord Newsom as Lady Gaga’s bulldogs are recovered after she promised a $500,000 reward, no questions asked. Oh happy happy joy joy in Hollywoodland!
And Tina Fey and Amy Poelher promise there’ll be no more of that political stuff at the Golden Globes this year after Rickey Gervaise made the home audience laugh at the hypocrisy of Hollywood glitterati like Fey and Poelher last year. Will there be actual fun and humour at the GG this year? We await breathlessly.
Maybe things are shifting in Portland? Another gang of mostly peaceful (and mostly white) protesters trashed downtown Portland smashing windows and insulting cops and harassing old people because of their whiteness but the local residents weren’t as meek as they have been.
