New Delhi: Ahead of the series opener between India and New Zealand, pictures of Arjun Tendulkar bowling to Indian batsmen in nets came up and more recently he was seen bowling specifically to Indian skipper Virat Kohli, probably helping him practice left-arm pace bowling.
It's not new for Arjun to bowl at the nets as he had done the same to the women's team at the iconic Lords before their ICC World Cup final against England. Arjun, who was named in a Mumbai U-19 squad for an invitational tournament, is a budding left-handed seamer.
Unlike his father, who made his name as the most prolific batsman in world cricket, Arjun is developing himself as a seam bowler and is often seen testing his progress against the best in business.
Here's the video of Arjun bowling to Kohli:
Earlier, Arjun's video of bowling a bouncer to Shikhar Dhawan garnered a lot of traction. He was seen giving enough trouble to left-handed batsmen with a sharp bouncer. He possibly has been roped in for practice sessions in attempt to help the Men in Blue prepare the batsmen for Trent Boult threat.
The next match between India and New Zealand will be in Kanpur on Sunday. With the result tied at 1-1 the 3rd ODI will decide the fate of the bilateral series.
