Good morning fellow Steemians. Time to bring a little bit of good news to you. I was perusing the internet as I generally do when I came across a news article that is worth repeating. This will be a short post about a hero by the name of Mamoudou Gassama.
A young man whos selfless act saved the life of a small child. How the small boy came into the predicament you are about to witness is unclear, fortunately a hero was there to prevent the ultimate tragedy.
This happened of the 26th of May and the video shows what transpired after is the link to the news article.

Unfortunatley I generally read or hear about how allowing immigrants into ones country is the wrong thing to do. It really upsets me that the news( 99% of the time) demeans or degregates people that are just trying to better their lives in a different country than they were born to. Reading this news article gave me a sense of pride because it shows the truth about most people. No matter where you were born or where you live, heroes emerge and perform great acts of bravery. It's not about skin color but simply being the best human when the occasion arises. These are the kind of stories that should be told time and again.
I heard about this man. Great job. Also I have heard that he was offered a job by a local fire department. Great to see people like this. Spread stories like this as much as possible.
