Gestión.pe spoke with Gonzalo Eyzaguirre and Carlos Santa Gadea, two young engineers and founders of Virtual X, the company that brought virtual reality to Peru.
"We were investigating disruptive technologies such as virtual reality and there we saw a business opportunity, our focus was to bring this technology to as many as possible," said Santa Gadea.
"We have a store of 100 m2 in the Mall del Sur and it has been in operation for 4 months, this place receives 1000 people weekly and we have seen that it has had a very good reception for the product, not only they come more, they stay longer" he added.
"This is the second operating site and the third in the year, the first one operated in the summer in Asia, and we expect to open 3 more places by the end of the year and we hope that one of them will be in the province, in the north," said Eyzaguirre. .
Virtual reality videogames started in China and then in cities like Tokyo, New York, London, Berlin, Paris, among others.
The company, which has two other investment partners, aims to close the year with 5 virtual reality videogame stores and one in the north of the country. His first store, located in a mall in San Juan de Miraflores, receives about 4,000 people a week
