With a weight reaching 8.5 tons, China's first space station will hit the Earth and it is likely to fall in the territory of Indonesia. Should Indonesian people panic about the news?

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (LAPAN) said people do not have to worry about the possibility of China's Tiangong-1 space station falling in Indonesia.

Head of LAPAN Thomas Djamaluddin explained that when Tiangong-1 reentered into Earth's atmosphere, the space station would break out where most of it would burn. He said the fragments would be scattered or hundreds of kilometers along the orbital path.

The potential for collision hazards to fall in uninhabited areas is very small, says Thomas, because the Earth's territory is largely uninhabited, consisting of oceans, forests, and deserts.

"So, people need not worry, but stay alert.Carefulness is necessary when on the day of the fall of the object object there is a citizen see objects fall from the sky in order not to touch it."

It needs further attention, that there is a potential danger that threatens if the public does not pay attention to the presence of toxins from the remaining Hydrazine rocket fuel. That's the condition, if people find objects that fall from outer space that then touch it directly.

For that, LAPAN appealed to the public to pay attention to it. Then the non-ministerial government agency also appealed to the public if they find objects falling from the sky to immediately report to the local authorities, which will be forwarded to LAPAN.

"LAPAN immediately sent a team to evacuate the object of the space and take appropriate action if there is a potential danger," he said.

Tiangong-1 literally this sky palace weighs 8.5 tons of tubular shape with a length of 10.4 meters 3.4 meters in dimension, equipped with a stretch of solar panels.

Known, the space station was launched on September 29, 2011 and orbits at an altitude of about 350 kilometers. In the period 2012-2013, Tiangong-1 was once occupied by Chinese astronauts.

Mentioned, the height of its orbit is always controlled, visible from history. But since 2016, Tiangong-1 is out of control and starts to fall in its orbit. It is estimated that around April 2018, this vehicle will fall to Earth.
