Ashley Arnold, a student at the University of Southern New Hampshire, United States, working on a paper on social norms. He compares the normal US social over other countries, and takes the Australian example. However, how surprised Arnold when getting his paper got a zero score from the supervisor. Reported by BuzzFeed News via The Sun Sunday (11/2/2018), which makes Arnold more surprising and amused is the answer given by his lecturer.
Arnold immediately tried to inform his lecturer that Australia was a country. However, the lecturer still insisted. "This error of accuracy makes your two weekly studies almost impossible to solve," the professor said in his e-mail to Arnold. The professor then explains at length to Arnold, research like dominoes. One mistake can ruin the entire research project. "I want you to understand that your mistakes can threaten your entire research," the professor said. Arnold who still has not surrendered then submitted a link to the official Australian government website. In addition, the 27-year-old woman urged her professor to open Google and find out Australia. Finally, though without apology, the lecturer says that he will return to review Arnold's paper, and give him a B Plus score. In a statement as reported by WMUR-TV, New Hampshire immediately conduct an investigation. As a result, they took off the lecturer, and returned the usual Arnold money to pay the guidance of the lecturer. "We recognize Australia as a country and continent. We expect you to succeed at the Winter Olympics," Souhthern told New Hampshire on Twitter.
