WASHINGTON DC should be a special moment for Donald Trump. Because, he will celebrate the first year of his post as President of the United States (US).

However, the special moment is threatened will not be celebrated at his private residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

Because, the US will face the closure of government services (Shutdown) after no agreement in Congress and the government on the government budget for 2018.

If there is a shutdown, then the impact is that the government can close almost all services, except for important sectors such as health, military, and law enforcement.

Civilian employees of the federal government will be exposed to furlough (housed without receiving a salary).

While those who are not exposed to furlough, such as military personnel or prison wardens, are threatened to receive late paychecks.

Reported by Sky News, the US threatened shutdown because both Democrats and Republicans disagree over one legislation product: Suspension Action for Children Immigrants (DACA).

DACA is a protective program for immigrant children, or Dreamer, who comes to the US.

The program was created in the era of President Barack Obama in 2012 to protect about 700,000 Dreamers there.

However, in September, Trump decided to stop the program, and announced DACA would end March 2018.

The Senate from the Democrats is ready to pass the budget proposed by the government if DACA continues.

However, the plan was opposed by Trump. "Democrats want illegal immigrants and weaken borders,"

Republic as the ruling party seeks to lobby Democrats by proposing an extension of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) over the next six years.

"They're paralyzed and incompetent, nothing to negotiate,"

Trump then immediately invited Schumer to the White House for a way out.

Trump hopes that the period of government budget discussions can be extended a month ahead.

This is the second renewal period after the first on December 21, 2017.

"A good early meeting with Senator Schumer, a four-week extension is the best way," Trump said on Twitter.

Since 1976, the US has recorded 18 times the shutdown with times occur in the Obama era in 2013 duration of 16 days from 1-17 October 2013.

CNN reported that as many as 850,000 civil servants were dismissed after a dispute over the revocation of funds, or the postponement of the Affordable Care Act.
