Ramos Sued Rp16, 3 Trillion due to Injured Mohamed Salah

Egyptian lawyer Bassem Wahba filed charges of € 1 billion or equivalent to Rp16.3 trillion against Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos for injuring winger LiverpoolMohamed Salah in the 2018 Champions League final.

Salah suffered a left shoulder injury while dueling the ball against Ramos when the 2018 Champions League final runs 26 minutes. False then left the field in the 30th minute.

Quoted from the Evening Standard, Wahba considers Ramos accidentally made Salah injured. In addition to filing charges, Wahba also protested to the International Football Confederation [FIFA].

"Ramos has deliberately injured Mohamed Salah and should be punished for his actions, I have filed lawsuits and protests to FIFA," Wahba told Egyptian television Sada El-Balad.

"I will ask for compensation, which could reach € 1 billion for the physical and psychological losses that Ramos gave to Salah and the Egyptian community," Wahba continued.

The Egyptian Football Association [EFA] had earlier confirmed Salah would be recovering in Spain. 25-year-old player was accompanied by medical teams Egypt and Liverpool.

"Mohamed Salah started a recovery program on Sunday when he talked with EFA teams, he is in high spirits and ambition to get back to the Egyptian team as soon as possible," the EFA official statement quoted from Independent.

Egypt's national team will undergo the first game in the 2018 World Cup against Uruguay on 15 June. Previously, the Egyptian national team will undergo trials melawna Colombia on June 1 and against Belgium on 6 June.
