A Bridge on Mighty Padma

The Padma Multipurpose Bridge is a under construction bridge across the mighty Padma River.

The government of Bangladesh is optimistic about the bridge and expecting that this mega project will boost the GDP by 1.2% after opening.

The main Bridge will be 6.15 kilometres long and will be completed 2020(projected) also, will cover few kilometres connective road on both side of the River.

The bridge will be the longest bridge on a river of the Country and 29% of total area of Bangladesh will be directly benefited from this.
