A lot of miners build machines using stacks of video game cards. The problem is these cards how ever powerful they maybe, weren't developed for mining digital currencies. They was designed with video gamers and graphic designers in mind. Then someone came with the idea of Application Specific integrated circuits. These circuits run or hash out rates quicker than video cards but at a significant price difference. Now video card companies are looking to regain some of that lost ground to ASIC's and have started to produce their own Specific video cards!

The ASUS Mining P106 is one such card. It's designed for one reason and one reason only...Mining digital currencies! It doesn't have any video ports and come with cooling fans rated for 27/7 usage. Asus is claiming a 36% enhanced megahash rate. I'm not sure about their claim but if anything, gamers my rejoice over this one. It could mean affordable regular gamers cards for them.

this is amazing

I have two Amd R9 390 cards. With Nicehash I get about $5.80 / day. I’m using a 750w power supply that powers both. They’re $300 each used.

thanks for the info on the ASUS Mining P106.
