CNN reported and AFP news agency Friday (9/3/2018), the drama ended with four people reportedly killed.

Captain Chris Child of the California Toll Road Patrol said the incident took place at Yesterville Veterans' Home at 10:20 am local time.

At six o'clock, some police tried to push into the area where the perpetrator had been hiding and captured his victim.

"Unfortunately, we found three bodies of women suspected of being a facility employee, and one male body we were expecting was the perpetrator," Childs said.

Although the victim's name has not been published, California Senator Bill Dodd confirmed, one dead person named Christine Loeber.

Loeber served as executive program director of a facility dealing with war veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress (PSTD).

Larry Karner, the husband of one of the house clerks, said the culprit came in when employees held their colleague's farewell party that was about to resign.

"They were eating cakes and toast when he came in with a assault rifle," Karner said, continuing if the culprit is so calm while talking.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the 36-year-old suspect is a former patient of the house.

She was allowed to leave a few days ago. "When the incident, he entered by wearing a necklace containing a strand of bullets," review The Chronicle.

Napa County Sheriff John Robertson said one of his deputies came directly upon receipt of an emergency report.

"My deputy opened fire so there was a gun," said Robertson who claimed to have pocketed the identity of the perpetrator.

Initially, the perpetrator detained four women in the facility. However, he later releases Deveraux Smith, who in fact is the wife of Karner.

Police and Napa County Sheriff did not provide information on whether the three hostages and the perpetrators were killed in the crossfire.

However, according to local media reports, the perpetrator decided to kill his prisoners, before he shot himself.

In addition, it is not clear whether the perpetrator chose his hostage at random, or whether the employee had previously been in touch with the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, California Governor Jerry Brown said that the cruel perpetrator has claimed the lives of employees who have been dedicated to caring for veterans.

"Our hearts are completely to the victims, their families, and the whole community in Yountville," Brown said.
