It’s no secret that drinking water is good for you, but being dehydrated may be associated with a wider waistline, according to a recent study published in the Annals of Family Medicine.
Researchers from the University of Michigan studied a group of about 9,500 adults aged 18 to 64 years from around the U.S. They found that people who weren’t adequately hydrated had a higher body mass index (BMI) than people who drank enough water.
In fact, people who were inadequately hydrated were 1.59 times more likely to be obese, compared with hydrated individuals.

In my own life I have seen this as definitely truth. I am a water fanatic and have always been thin without doing much to work out or anything. It is the only thing I drink and I do a lot of drinking it!
