North Carolina's Chassle Crystal won the 2019 Miss USA title in Reno, Nevada, on Thursday.
The new Miss USA is an attorney who frees up the running time on the behalf of the prisoners.
28-year-old Chelsea Criste from Charlotte, North Carolina, was crowned as the winner of the pageant's 2019 winner on Thursday night at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno,Nevada.
For her last question in the final round, she was asked that the movements of #MeToo and #TimesUp have gone too far.
"I don't think these movements have gone too far," she said. "What's about #MeToo and #TimesUp is sure we encourage safe and inclusive workplaces in our country.
"As an attorney, that's exactly what I want to hear and that's exactly what I want for this country. i think they're good movements."
Crystals law uses civil lawsuits for generations and those who do free legal acts for prisoners, who can punish unjustly, can help them to reduce the punishment.
As Miss USA, Crystal Miss Universe will be eligible to participate in the Miss Universe competition.
In addition to working in the law, she operates a blog on fashion, white collar glam. She was inspired to start the blog "struggling to fund appropriate, affordable and professional clothing," and she expressed her desire to start a working clothing line someday, according to the Miss Universe website.
Crystal has a law degree from the University of North Carolina's Wake Forest University and Master of Business Administration degree and has an undergraduate business degree from the University of South Carolina, where she was a track athlete
