A new word was added to the Oxford Dictionary! It's the word stan from the popular song "Stan" from Eminem!
The word stan means "an overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity".
I love this song and as an Eminem fan it is the first time I ever heard a song in pop culture spawning a word. It is interesting that it has been used in YouTube comments and all over the internet for years and now it is a real word. I am so happy let me know what you guys think of Oxford adding this new word.
