German company Volkswagen found by Adolf Hitler and German labor front has been struggling for a long time now. Company has spent more than $7 billion to buy back its diesel based cars due to court filing against the company for causing global emissions. More than 350,000 cars have been brought back ever since but the number will be increasing as the buyback offer run until the end of 2019. VW has been ordered to buy back 85% of its vehicles i.e. approximately 500,000 in numbers before mid 2019 and fix the problems caused.
So far, Company has resold 13,000 and destroyed more than 25,000 vehicles. VW has stored almost 300,000 vehicles till now. The location for parking the car include a former Minnesota paper mill , a sun-bleached desert graveyard near Victorville, California and even a stadium known as Suburban Detroit football stadium with 34 more spaces. Even though the number is huge but the company ensures that there would be no compromise on quality of even a single vehicle parked in the graveyards. Volkswagen’s spokeswoman Jeannine Ginivan explains the situation by saying “These vehicles are being stored on an interim basis and routinely maintained in a manner to ensure their long-term operability and quality, so that they may be returned to commerce or exported once U.S. regulators approve appropriate emissions modifications”.

VW claims that 83% of the vehicles have been repaired according the requirements and soon will be completed what is promised. VW has agreed to spend more than $25 billion in the US for claims from owners, environmental regulators, states and dealers and offered to buy back about 500,000 polluting vehicles. The buybacks will continue through the end of 2019. Company decided to spend approximately $25 billion in the US for claims from owners, environmental regulators, states and dealers. More than 400,000 letter offerings worth $8 billion were made just for compensation and buybacks.V olkswagen has earned a lot of reputation ever since the company started. The company decided to save the environment and made tough decisions which had a deep affect. Such initiatives and hard work is worth appreciating.

Stupidity. What a waste of resources, thousands of working hours, money and so on... And all of this because officials made a ridiculous law specifying norms of exhaust gas emissions... Such law has started a chain reaction where cheating with emissions was at the end.
But the problem has its source in wrong legislation of new emission standards without fundamental knowledge how the engine works...
OK, cars were given back. Can I take one...

yes, such sort of initiatives may be hard for the company to bear it but later these sort of steps provides a solid paved path to excel in the market.

Volkswagen provides that cars will be sold but I don't think that storing so many cars in one place is environment-friendly. So, what do the ecologists say? Anyway, great post, upvoted, followed and I'm waiting for further reports about this situation.

Waoooooo
25.000.000.000 USD.
VW apuesta a posicionarse en el mercado de EEUU y de seguro que lo hará.
Otra cosa; este error no lo cometerán nunca más. Primero desarrollarán en línea con las regulaciones ambientales y luego se lanzarán con sus modelos para el momento.
Saludos y Gracias
