I saw something on the news about the laws potentially being changed here in the UK but I'm not holding my breath

Not in the united states. Too much freedom there. Had to cut way back.

Not it Malaysia too. Unless the gov managed to gain profit from it. Plus I dont think ppl here are ready for Cannabis.

Cannabis can cure the addiction to stronger drugs. If the government would admit this all the propaganda against it would just seem like fearmongering. Didn't also the statistics of Colorado show that after cannabis legalization the use of harder drugs went down? It just pisses me off sometimes.

The Govenment is terrified of you finding truth about anything. Sometimes I get really sick by reading headlines like this...wtf is this world we live in? Plant that is useful in million ways and we are talking is it good? What is that shit? I sometimes feel like I'm living in twilight zone planet

I can see and feel your guys passion! I am so glad to see people care and stand up for something! GODS SPEED !!

It still stinks and should be banned from smoked in public places. When more people use it and enough money at stake some overdose or impurity poisoning events will happen and BAM gov red tape will come in to protect the people favour big corp fleecing. History always repeat.

Governments receive money from big Pharma. Big Pharma make their money from synthetic drugs. Cannabis is a natural drug the big Pharma can't slap a patent on. The conclusion... they can't make money on it so it's demonised and lobbied as a gateway to hell drug!

Cannabis is great as long as big pharma don't take over and start genetically modifying it

Oh! you hit the nail on the head there!

That's the only danger we have there, they will go after this and soon after crypto currency. thanks for replying.

As the manager of a cannabis dispensary in Colorado, I can tell you with absolute certainty that this movement is fighting against the opioid epidemic.

People are being prescribed medicines that shorten their lives significantly, wipe out their funds and ruin any possibility of day to day happiness. It's a sad state of affairs...

But there's hope! Cannabis is already making a huge difference. We may have a hard road ahead of us to break the strong conditioning that's been in place for years, but together we can do it!

Thanks for sharing this story, keep up the good work :)

I live in aceh where is the best marijuana producing region in the world. I often hear about the incredible usage of marijuana for the medical world. In my country marijuana is the government's biggest enemy. Every day is always in the news of illegal marijuana discovery and tons of tons of marijuana in annihilation every day.

Hey Dan, this is Nicholas Peter from Patreon. Wanted to say i really enjoyed the video and the message this gentleman was espousing, community, peace. Awesome to see videos like these. Keep up the great work my friend.

Legalize it! Prohibition is a joke! How can you keep this miracle plant from the people! At least in the US it is being relaxed.

If cannabis is legalized in Nigeria where i come from there would be so many lunatics on the street. Our youth abuse it a lot more than they utilize it positively. still there are some who become so loyal and easygoing after taking it. I guess there's not much proper education to its use in my part of the world. Then again the elders do not see anything good about anyone who consumes it. You become a hoodlum immediately they observe you have been doing cannabis. They totally ignore or should i say unaware of it's medical implication.

woow,,

I support cannabis medical use. I am not sure aboute non-medical sure, but I think it is less harmful than nicotine. In my opinion, according just to the health effects of tobacco it should be banned. The problem is that tobacco lobbies has a big impact and the ban may increase crime organizations like alcohol prohibition did.

Same problem with big pharma and there lobbyist, also the same issue with the black market in cannabis. If the lobbyist were banned, most of the USSA's problems would fade away instantly, just look at how many people are incarcerated for a plant.

Here in Spain there isn't lobbies regulation and the European Union have warned our government because of that, and I agree they should be banned.

About big pharma, the FDA should have more power and the company that developes a new drug should not be able to design and make the studies required for his approval. On the other hand, in spite of all his flaws allopathy is much more safe and effective than any alternative treatments.

Not too sure about that, allopathy solves all of its problems with drugs and/or surgery. Surgery can defiantly be a very useful tool, but drugs don't solve problems, they just mask the effects of he problem.

Look at the cancer industry for instance, chemo and radiation is the answer according to allopathy, neither of which gets rid of the stem cell that causes the problem. A homeopathic approach looks to destroy the root of the problem, therefor the immune system can eliminate the stem cells and the person recover completely, with a much better chance of the cancer not returning, and with no side effects.

Radiotherapy and chemotherapy kill cancer cells. A
homeopathic approach is just expensive water or sugar that provides some placebo effect. And the side effect is that people leave effective treatments and die.

Wow, look into the Hoxsley Clinic, the Gerson Therapy, Dr. Mercola, or better yet check out Ty Bollinger. Big Pharma doesn't want any of that knowledge known, which is probably why you don't know about any of it.

Thanks for the sources. Maybe I will take a look later, but I do know enough about chemistry to say that homeopathy principles are incompatible with most of the scientific evidence we have about human health and properties of water. Science could be wrong? Of course it could , but with current data the chances that homeopathy is wrong are way much higher.

Homeopathy has advanced nothing since it was invented in XVIII century. At that time existance of virus, bacteria and many other aspects related with human health were unknown. Big pharma did not exist at that time , and nobody was able to prove effectiveness better than placebo effect since then.

So are you of the opinion that cannabis has no health effects?

I don't think tobacco should be banned. Yes it is dangerous if you get addicted, but people don't deserve to go to jail for using it.

Tobacco ban should be a progressive measure in various phases, and I agree consumers should not go to jail.

Singapore and Tasmania for example have banned minors for start smoking when they are adults. Other option is to create a massive campaign that includes medical advisory and stop smoking treatments for free during a long period before applying the ban.

Additives and flavors added to tobacco make it more addictive and harmful. Banning them would help at reducing problems caused by tobacco.

But, if it's banned does that mean people buy it from the black market? Isn't that kind of a bad thing?

Yes, that is the worst side effect of tobacco ban. With current addiction levels, a total ban may cause an explosion of crime organization like alcohol prohibition did.

But the difference between tobacco and any other drug is that tobacco does not have any benefit. While helping people addicted to stop smoking may be difficult, why would anyone start smoking tobacco?

I can think of a few reasons why people start. They aren't worth the horrible health problems but there really is something appealing about smoking ( to me at least). I would consider vaping nicotine or smoking a cigar and restrict myself to once every month or so since the health risks of infrequent smoking aren't large.

That would make this whole thing worthwhile.

big pharma is also scared of whole plant cbd vs them isolating cbd

The government isn't terrified - the police-industrial complex is too lucrative and powerful for them to break a sweat. They'll medicinally legalize it for this purpose eventually, when their corporate partners have found a good way to mirror the treatment path in a patentable product, and still make a literal killing on the drugs they already approved. The state is the organized crime that runs back millennia - they're not scared of a plant. They just know it's more profitable illegal. After all, it being illegal promotes the gang culture and warfare that allows them to justify militarily policing the streets, and global drug dealers mean that a war on drugs is just as international as a war on terror. It isn't fear that keeps it illegal. It's peoples' faith in government, and the self-serving violence of the state that has criminalized this plant. Never forget that.
