Police in Hamburg arrested a 51-year-old German on charges of burning a bag full of firecrackers that exploded in an underground station on Sunday.
Police say the judge issued an order that the suspect remain in custody while the investigation continues, AP reported. In an explosion at Fedel Station, glass was damaged.
As previously reported, no one was injured on that occasion. The police did not publish additional information about the suspect. However, the German newspaper Bild identified the suspect as Stefan K, a Hamburger who was previously convicted and linked to neo-Nazi groups.
