Australian T20 coach Ricky Ponting?

The whole thing is still in the initial stage. But in the meantime, Cricket Australia will be going to take over the responsibility of Australian T-20 team in the presence of Ricky Ponting in front of his country's T-20 World Cup in 2020. Ponting may be Australia's coach, this possibility may be a big news.

One of the best strengths of cricket Australia has won five times in the one-day World Cup, but the T20 World Cup has not been a success. Cricket Australia wants to change this situation with Ponting's hand.

The Australian Cricket Board has been negotiating with Ponting on the matter, Cricket News reported on the Australian Cricket website. The decision was not immediately given in this report.

Working as an Australian cricket coach for the former Australian captain, however, is nothing new. Ponting worked as assistant coach in a Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka in early 2010. Former Test opener Justin Langer was in charge of the Interim Coach in the series because of the Test team tour of India. Apart from Ponting, he also served as assistant coach in the series, former fast bowler Jason Gillespie.

Ponting, who has scored 41 centuries in Tests, is considered one of the best cricket and cricket brains of Australian cricket. Ponting, working as the coach of Mumbai Indians in the IPL, has been working for several seasons. Mumbai's franchise to win the IPL title under his leadership in 2015.

In 1999, Ponting was one of the key players in Australia's second World Cup win in England. After the retirement of Steve Waugh, he has been the captain of Australia's all-time team. South Africa win the 2003 World Cup and the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies.

Australia's current coach Darren Lehman will step down after the 2019 World Cup. What is the responsibility of the whole team in one hand as the next coach, but will not Australia? That's just the suggestion that Ponting is planning to make T-20 coach!
