As per the report in LA Times, at least 5 people are dead in a multiple shooting in Tehama county in North California. 10 are said to be hospitalized. Shooting locations includes a school in which 2 children were wounded (One young boy shot in leg and chest; other student was shot in the arm). Shooting said to have started around 8 AM in Rancho Tehema which is about 120 miles northwest of Sacremento. The Gunman was shot by a Sheriff's deputies but the details of the gunman is still not disclosed.

Currently around 100 law enforcement officers are stationed in Rancho Tehema. Childrens have been medically evacuvated. While the investigation is in progress, the reason behind the shooting still remains unknown.
