Paganism of latin: paganus which means "people who live in the field".
Paganism is the religion, or rather a way of life practiced since ancient times.
In Paganism refers to the existence of forces that constantly interact in 3 planes of existence: the physical plane, the astral and of course the spiritual - emotional - mental plane, these forces we can mention the most important, five universal elements: air, fire, water, Earth, and spirit.
Is it related to polytheism and a belief in the old gods.
In Norse paganism, we find:
God of gods and father of all.
God of Thunder with gloves and iron and its renowned hammer Mjolnir, is the God of strength and is very close to Odin in hierarchy and is the owner of a special belt.
Is the guardian of the gods; very little sleep the sound of his horn is heard anywhere of heaven and Earth.
Paganism is also Greek, and today find neo-paganism as the beliefs of wicca that people tend to relate to witchcraft and ancient religions.
Wicca worships a goddess and a God. "The Moon Goddess and the God Horned".
These "gods" have divine aspects similar to other pagan deities and for that reason in this belief are called the "great goddess" and the "great God horned", the adjective "great" connotes many deities within his nature.
In this last week we have observed in all social networks news-themed "resurfaces Paganism".
For example an of which more I has called the attention is the creation of a temple to the gods Nordic in Iceland.
This will be really a religious purpose or is just a way of increasing tourism?
Although it seems that a wave is playing everywhere. An attack on a synagogue in the city of Kansas, whose author is a practitioner of the odinism (cult of Odin).
On another site I read that it rises in Greece the cult to the gods of Olympus and the churches where worship these mythological beings are becoming popular.
On the island of Crete followers of Zeus, they destroyed an Orthodox Church.
Supreme Council of Gentile Greeks which was founded in 1997 supporting polytheism and defends ethnic tradition and promote events that are held in the ancient temples of Greece as the Prometheia festival which has been held since 21 years ago.

Thousands of Greeks belonging to Hellenic organizations mobilized claiming the return of pre-Christian beliefs and rituals.
In all the articles I read I found the coincidence that the followers of paganism see Christianity as a religion that replaced the ancient religious practices.
We are all free to have our own beliefs and we must be respectful and tolerant, being different can be something very positive, promoting the good and be happy, it should be the goal.
See you in the next post.
