Ambulance Service Company Dubai (DCAS) introduced their new fleet of rescue vehicles.
Vehicles such as sport bikes will be a mode of transportation for fast response units with speeds up to 200 kilometers per hour.
The new fleet unit was first shown in the Arab Health Exhibition, an exhibition as well as the largest health congress in the Middle East.
A total of six luxury ambulance cars and four sport bikes were exhibited in an exhibition that was held for four days and ending Thursday (1/2/2018).
Although the form of motor sport, the vehicle is still equipped with medical equipment, such as emergency equipment, heart shock device, until the oxygen cylinder.
DCAS Executive Director Khalifa bin Dray said the emergency rescue field always works against time to reach the wounded and sick.
"So we are throwing the idea of using a sport bike that is closely related to the speed with this sport bike will be able to cut response time to just four minutes," said Khalifa told Al Bayan media.
He described the new DCAS fleet as the world's most luxurious ambulance, equipped with artificial tools and intelligence.
Khalifa explained, the new fleet will be alerted in tourist areas such as Burj Khalifa, roads and sidewalks Jumeriah, which is in line with the extraordinary service of Dubai.
With the speed that the medical team can reach with the best emergency equipment, the first aid for the best care can be given to the patient until waiting for the arrival of the ambulance that will take him to the hospital.
Khalifa also boasted the achievements of the world level achieved through the integrated work system they run. With an emergency response rate of 4-8 minutes, it is said to have exceeded any city in the world.
