Updated 2hrs hours ago from CNBC :
"Title: Google will ban all cryptocurrency-related advertising
Google is cracking down on cryptocurrency-related advertising. The company will no longer allow ads about cryptocurrency-related content, including initial coin offerings (ICOs), wallets, and trading advice across any of its ad platforms. The move follows a similar ban by Facebook earlier this year.
Jillian D'Onfro | @jillianiles"
I understand why Google and Facebook are doing this completely And it makes complete sense!
Coins in the blockchain technology they represent right now are considered equivalent to stock and the companies by the US (thank Trump for locking the little guy out)....
Just like you are proected from (not allowed to participate in) an Initial Stock Offering (ISO) with out being a qualified investor (a person with a net worth of a million dollars) and financial Instruments are not allowed to be advertised because of the Legal and Liability Headaches that they would open Google up to (like porn, smoking, alcohol and firearms) they understand its better to just not get in a war with the US FTC. Afterall they make enough money with out them and they are a US corp.
Its simple and probably fatal-compli.
Now why is it a good thing....
Blockchain is here for good so the industry will still grow
Regulation is coming so the amount of flim-flam artists and scammers are going to go away.
Those who know how to find information out will be rewarded... obvious you and I know how to do that.
So you have a built in advantage against ads being shoved at the general public. You will be able to get into more ICOs, because right now the way they advertise to the whole world, its almost impossible to get into some good ones. We now are VIPs!
Banning it will not stop it... It will just make it easier for us that understand the industry to really get ahead!
Yet they let kids download games that are designed to get them adicted and spend money on in app purchases. Sounds like they are scared because blockchain is the only thing that could over take them

Right on!!! They're so afraid of what the blockchain represents.
Blockchain (or Internet 2.0), is free, distributed/decentralized and is scaring the shit out of institutions

I do agree with you mate. But I do also think there interest is to protect their customers... Why did America ban ICO whereas they have been positive when they were talking about cryptocurrencies, they even talk about HODL... Because they want to protect their citizen, that's it... And indeed many ICO were scams. And I simply think that protecting their customers from being scamed his a really good strategy long term and they understood it. Facebook and google are the 2 biggest database in the world, Facebook is the most detailled by the way.. Really usefull to solve some major problem such as terrorism... It is a super tool for the CIA and FBI I guess, as it can be a super tool for companies...

valid points but looking at router logs are even better for CIA and FBI...
the problem is the distributed processing of the blockchain, makes it a whack a mole unless they make there own distributed processing/cloud architecture to do mirror analaysis of the blockchain.

The mainstream advert company dont want decentralized advert companies to get in , some crypto coins are made for advert and they dont want to decentrlized advert , they only want two big companies ie facebook and google to infulence us on daily basis , plus same fake ICO made it an excuse to do this , people were spetical for WWW in 2000 but now where the Internet is , so ppl should not follow google and facebook banning and boycot them
.

All the big world corporations are afraid of cryptocurrency,
cryptocurrency gives power and money to smart people.
And they don't like that, they want all the smart people to be poor so they can exploit them more easy.
