Calling The Kettle Black

In a recent article, the New York Times, that bastion of impartial journalism, took CNN's Buzzfeed to task for publishing a story about Trump's ties to Russia. Particularly was a story that Trump received "golden showers" from prostitutes in a Moscow hotel. Even journalists such as Julia Ioffe, who published (if not fomented) the rumor that Trump had sex with his daughter, wouldn't touch it. Buzzfeed's Editor, Ben Smith claims he published this article to "maintain transparency."

The dossier from which these allegations come were leaked to the media via Sen. John McCain, who has been anti-Trump since well before the election. McCain, thought by many to be a hero of the Vietnam War because of his imprisonment by the North Vietnamese in the infamous "Hanoi Hilton." He was charged with treason and is no more a hero of that war than Jane Fonda or John Kerry. Upon his return, he was pardoned by Nixon.
