US plane crash kills 50

Kathmandu, March 12 - A Nepal-bound US-Bangla Airlines flight has crashed at Trimbwan International Airport in Kathmandu with 67 passengers from Dhaka. Initially known to have killed 50 passengers.

Nepal's tourism ministry joint secretary Suresh Acharya said on condition of anonymity that 17 people were rescued and sent to hospital after being injured. The security forces of the airport and the Nepal Army are rescuing them there.
