Main Duties From Bank of Japan ( BoJ )

The establishment of the Bank of Japan has the following mission and duties :

  1. Print Yen currency and manage and monitor its circulation.

  2. Ensure financial system stability in Japan and provide settlement services.

  3. Implement monetary policy necessary to improve the Japanese economy.

  4. Set up a portfolio of state assets (gold, foreign and other reserves) and government securities.

  5. Participate in international events.

  6. Collect various economic data and conduct research and analysis.

In performing its duties, the Bank of Japan may use various monetary policy instruments, like other central banks. Among interest rates, bond purchase programs, currency exchange intervention, and so forth.

The BoJ, which often intervenes with the Yen currency, is currently implementing quantitative easing policies to combat the ongoing deflation and improve Japan's economic growth. The current interest rate ranges from 0% to 0.10%, maintained at low levels also in order to sustain economic recovery.

Is this a joke? Are you taking the piss out of central banking, or are you serious? Central banks are there to commit legalized fraud, create base currency out of thin air, especially during QE, and collect massive profits by usurping wealth from working individuals.
