Uber to build a flying taxi to avoid traffic jams

During the annual Elevate Summit, Uber announced that their newest invention will be UberAir, a flying taxi. This way they want to avoid delays caused by traffic jams.

To develop the aircraft, they partnered up with the likes of NASA and the US Army. The goal is to have the taxi's flying around in five years from now. The first test flights are planned in 2020 in the Dallas region. At first, the UberAir's will have pilots flying them, but the final goal is to offer fully autonomous airtravel.
