Beijing, Oct. 23 (reporter LV Hongqiao) according to the report of the voice of economy of China Central Radio and television (CCTV), the Information Office of the State Council held a press conference on October 23, in which the Ministry of industry and information technology introduced the development achievements of industrial communication industry during the 13th five year plan period. From 2016 to 2019, China's industrial added value increased by 5.9% annually, far higher than the world average. High tech manufacturing industry and equipment manufacturing industry have become the main force driving the development of manufacturing industry. In the past five years, the network capacity has been significantly enhanced and the speed has doubled. Digital economy has achieved leapfrog development, contributing more than 60% to GDP growth. The pace of integration of industrialization and informatization is also accelerating, with the industrial Internet industry reaching 3 trillion yuan.
From 2016 to 2019, China's industrial added value increased from 24.54 trillion yuan to 31.71 trillion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 5.9%, far higher than the average annual growth rate of world industry of 2.9% in the same period. In 2019, the added value of China's manufacturing industry will reach 26.9 trillion yuan, accounting for 28.1% of the world's total, maintaining the status of the world's largest manufacturing country for ten consecutive years. Wang Zhijun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said that the main goals and tasks of the industrial communication industry in the 13th five year plan will be completed on schedule. In addition to further improving the comprehensive strength, China's industrial innovation capability has also been significantly improved. "In 2019, the R & D investment intensity of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size in China will reach 1.32%, 0.42 percentage points higher than that in 2015. We have initially formed a manufacturing innovation network with 17 national manufacturing innovation centers as the core and more than 100 provincial manufacturing innovation centers as supplements Wang Zhijun said.
At the same time, the industrial structure continued to optimize. The iron and steel industry completed the target of 150 million tons of production capacity in the 13th five year plan two years ahead of schedule. The demonstration application of intelligent manufacturing has been accelerated. As of June this year, the popularization rate of digital R & D design tools and the numerical control rate of key processes of enterprises in key manufacturing fields were 71.5% and 51.1%, respectively, 14.8 and 3.8 percentage points higher than those in 2015. "The added value of high-tech manufacturing industry and equipment manufacturing industry accounted for 14.4% and 32.5% of the added value of industries above Designated Size, respectively, 2.6% and 0.7% higher than that in 2015, and become the main force driving the development of manufacturing industry." Wang Zhijun said.
In addition, in the past five years, the growth of high-quality enterprises has accelerated, and the global competitiveness of leading enterprises has continued to increase. A number of leading enterprises with strong innovation ability and international competitiveness have emerged in the fields of information and communication, rail transit, new energy vehicles, etc. In the field of major technical equipment, in addition to the "going global" of high-speed rail, nuclear power and satellites, some new business cards have also been recognized globally.
In terms of communication industry, since the 13th five year plan, China has built the largest information and communication network in the world. 4G base stations account for more than half of the world. In less than one year, more than 690000 5g base stations have been built, and the network capacity has been significantly enhanced. The information infrastructure in rural and remote areas has been significantly improved to achieve "the same network and the same speed" in rural cities. In order to make people use it well and affordable, the Ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT) continues to promote speed-up and fee reduction. Wen Ku, a spokesman for the Ministry of industry and information technology and director of the Department of information and communications development, said that the average end-to-end download rate of fixed broadband and 4G users has increased more than seven times over 2015. "In the past five years, the average tariff of fixed broadband and mobile phone traffic in our country has dropped by more than 95%. Now, in terms of unit price, it is only a small part at that time. Every year, more than 1 billion mobile phone or communication users are benefited by various measures, which effectively improves the sense of gain of the common people. " Wenku said.
With the development of network, China's digital economy has also achieved leapfrog development. Various mobile APP applications are rapidly popularizing, and basic services such as e-commerce, mobile payment, Internet plus education, medical care and so on are constantly innovating, which promotes the systematization and efficiency of government public services. "Driven by new information and communication technologies and new formats, China's digital economy has a strong momentum of development. In 2019, the total amount of China's digital economy exceeded 35 trillion yuan, accounting for 36.2% of GDP and contributing 67.7% to GDP." Wenku said.
The integration of industrialization and informatization is also accelerating. The application of industrial Internet convergence covers more than 30 key industries of the national economy, and new formats and new models such as intelligent manufacturing, networked collaboration, personalized customization, service-oriented extension and digital management have grown rapidly. Wen Ku said that the industrial Internet has increasingly played a supporting role in the high-quality development of the real economy. "The scale of the industrial Internet industry has reached 3 trillion yuan, and the industrial ecology of multi-party collaboration has been further expanded. There are 1700 members of the industrial Internet industry alliance. Industrial cooperation in related technologies, standards, R & D, and application has been continuously strengthened, which has increasingly played a supporting role in the digital transformation of manufacturing industry and the high-quality development of the real economy." Introduction to Wenku.
