Voice assistants may be incorporated not only in luxury cars but also in motorcycles. At least so say in the leadership of the famous Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Today, the company is engaged in production of industrial robots, watercraft, tractors, trains and even aircraft, motorcycles but still occupy a very important place in the line of Kawasaki products. And the next generation of bikes may well acquire their own artificial intelligence, like JARVIS from the movie "Iron Man."
Why need a motorcycle artificial intelligence? The thing is that the manufacturer takes care of the safety of motorcyclists. Many bikers often neglected basic safety rules, let alone the observance of speed limits and say no. It is here that in the case and enters the artificial intelligence that can simple human language to explain the owner of the motorcycle than fraught with such reckless behavior. At certain times when the AI will understand that to reach out to the person does not work, it can even go to the trick and remind him that his child's birthday soon, thereby forcing the family to think about and stop risking their lives.
Kawasaki engineers and programmers tend to achieve an improvement of emotional connection between the rider and his "iron horse", like in the old TV series Knight Rider (1982), where the smart car KITT in constant communication with his driver by actor David Hasselhoff. The system has a working title of «Emotion Generation Engine and Natural Language Dialogue», and help develop its specialists Cocoro SB Corp, part of the SoftBank Group. The latter, by the way, artificial intelligence has eaten more than one dog, so that the experience of its professionals have rich enough.
While talking to a motorcyclist artificial intelligence will form its own unique personality. Even its creators do not know what the result will be a personal assistant - it all depends on its host. But one thing you can be sure at 100%: in a stressful or dangerous situation, artificial intelligence will support and guide the motorcycle driver, that very likely can save that life. But life, as we know, this is the most precious thing we have.
