From Las Adjuntas to Santa Teresa del Tuy, the polluted Guaire River runs through all of Caracas. The garbage, the toxic waste and the diseases that the flow lodges are not an impediment for these young people who arrive at their banks looking for valuables that allow them to survive in the growing economic crisis that Venezuela is facing.
The gold hunters, also called "garimpeiros", "guaireimpeiros" or "miners of the Guaire", prefer to go to the river where they can earn at least Bs.30,000 daily with three hours of work. They know that their work is frowned upon because of the health risks, but they choose to be there instead of going out to the streets to commit a crime.
The gold fishermen, a youth that is looking for opportunities in a country that can not take it anymore, are asking the regime and the next governments to create jobs that will allow them to have a "normal" life in their beloved country of Venezuela.
Very informative message dealing with the events of venezuela. +1 🤔
