An unusual house appeared in the wooded surroundings of the Mexican city of Monterrey. Accidental passers-by do not so easily notice it, because because of its mirror facade, the building is almost invisible. But the owners, being inside the house, can freely enjoy the lush greenery through the transparent glass.
The architect Tatiana Bilbao became the author of the project "Los Terrenos". The customer provided Tatiana with a plot of 2200 square meters. She decided to approach the case unconventionally and instead of one house she designed three: a living room with a mirror facade, a bedroom built of bricks, and another structure made of natural wood is still under development.
Of greatest interest is the living room with kitchen and dining room. The fact is that almost entirely the building is made of a metal frame and glass. Being inside the building, the owners can freely enjoy the beautiful view, because the clear glass, as it were, erases the boundaries between the interior space and the surrounding nature. Minimalist interior compensates for the beautiful exterior.
Well, outside the house is almost invisible to casual travelers, because it has a mirror facade, reflecting the lush green of the forest. The shape of the roof imitates the outlines of the top of the nearby mountain.
I wish I had this house. thanks for useful post
