Sam Allardyce has praised the decision to allow Tottenham striker Harry Kane to sit out England’s upcoming friendlies against Germany and Brazil. The Spurs star is one of six players to pull out of the squad for the Wembley double-header, with Dele Alli, Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling among those also absent through injury.
