Not to go against your opinions but have You heard of https://purse.io ? ?

Check it out... it's been around for about 2 years & allows people to purchase quite of few products on Amazon at a Discount...Using BitCoin !!

So perhaps Amazon is actually considering going forward with "directly" accepting Bitcoin. It certainly seems plausible.
