Lisa Thomas-McMillan, along with her husband, Freddie McMillan, and a team of volunteers prepared a Southern feast every day at the eatery on Lee Street in downtown Brewton.
Served cafeteria-style, the lunch offerings might include oven-fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken pot pie, barbecued ribs and a host of side dishes like macaroni and cheese, cabbage and fried okra, plus yeast rolls and bread pudding."
