Facebook users will have more control over their private information in a few months, Facebook announced.
At its annual developer conference (F8) held in San Jose, United States, Mark Zuckerberg, executive director and founder of Facebook, said that, his company is adding "among other things" a new privacy feature that will erase the history of navigation, including what has been clicked and the websites that have been visited.
Zuckerberg compared the new option with the possibility of deleting cookies from web browsers.
With this new option, users will be able to eliminate some of the information that Facebook stores about them, but the platform will continue to provide aggregate data to applications and websites so that developers can analyze, for example, which demographic group they are most popular with.
