The government needs to pass a funding bill before January, 19th or the government will shut down. The biggest impediment to funding the government is Congress's divide over DACA and the dreamers, young people in America who were brought into the country illegally by their parents, through no fault of their own.
In a filmed meeting on Wednesday, California Democratic Senator Diane Feinstein proposed a "clean DACA" bill that would not be tied to any border wall funding. To nearly everyone's surprise in the room, President Trump agreed with Feinstein! He said the DACA deal needs to be made "with love!"
