Telangana High Court allows engg colleges to collect hiked fees

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Tuesday permitted a few designing schools to gather the improved expenses for BTech courses for the time of 2022-23 to 2024-25 on specific circumstances.

Equity K. Lakshman was hearing a cluster of petitions by 14 designing universities, which mentioned the court to coordinate the Eamcet convener, the Telangana Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) and others to permit them to gather the climbed expense.

The candidate universities said they had sent their expense proposition to the TAFRC in light of the accessible offices. In private hearings led by TAFRC, the obsession of charge was settled upon by the two sides.

In light of the court orders, Vardhaman College was permitted to gather Rs 1.55 lakh, CVR College Rs 1.5 lakh, Guru Nanak College Rs 1.2 lakh, KG Reddy College Rs 1 lakh, Sphoorthy Rs 95,000, Gokaraju Lailavathi Women's College Rs 70,000, etc.
