#6. Voting For Kebabs

😭😭

A move by the European parliament to ban the phosphates necessary to keep seasoned kebab meat moist and flavoursome is said to pose a direct threat to the future of the nightclubber’s favourite greasy snack.

An estimated 1.3m doner kebabs are sold every day in the UK from more than 20,000 outlets.

But if MEPs vote to accept the recommendation from the health committee by an absolute majority (367 votes), the commission’s plan will be skewered.

If accepted, the favourite fast food could be under threat – leaving lovers of the meaty snack up in arms.

#9. Instagram has brought out a new feature where you can follow a hashtag just like you would a user.

Instagram has introduced the ability to follow hashtags on the social network, giving users a new way to discover and stay on top of their favourite interests.

It means you won’t have to keep typing ‘woodworking’ into your search bar to see all the latest woodworking trends, and find the best woodworking accounts.

Or if you’re really into woodworking, you can follow #wood (behave), or #woodworking to see regular updates.

So, say you’re planning your wedding, you’ll probably want to follow #weddings, #weddingdresses, #weddingflowers, and so on.

Announcing the new function, Instagram wrote in a blog post:

‘Everyday, millions of people share photos and videos and tag them with relevant hashtags.

‘You’ll begin seeing top posts from that hashtag in your feed and some of the latest stories in your stories bar.’

You’ll see relevant hashtags displayed in your search results, along with related accounts.

But be warned – if your account is public, everyone will be able to see which hashtags you’re following😭😭.
