The NGO is committed to the prevention and eradication of selling of slaves in Libya in all its forms through advocacy and education.

The Committee recognizes slavery in persons as a violation of human rights and advocates for policy and action plans to address all aspects of human slavery.

While the Committee’s work is primarily at the United Nations, it works in partnership with its member organizations and other stakeholders taking action on international and national levels.

Our Work
NGO Committee members are a powerful voice against human slavery.

Initiate actions that address this serious problem both locally and at the UN, since slavery in persons occurs within libya and across national borders.

Facilitate organizing at all levels, especially the grassroots, access to UN processes and agencies, and collaboration with current anti-human slavery campaigns.

Advocate for stronger mechanisms to monitor compliance with commitments to prevent, protect and prosecute under the Palermo Protocols and the International Labor Organization.

We are looking for Support efforts that provide services to victims of slavery of persons in Libya.
