Thanks Dan, I have always wondered about what I would do if someone broke in and I knew that I could get into trouble somehow. What would happen if I were to stab or severely injure an intruder? I understand that they want to discourage violence but there is a line that needs to be drawn at ones family and home. I guess this is where "excessive force? comes into play, in your only defence.
