Ben Schwan of Heiseheise_online_logo_top.gif reports that Apple took several VPN apps off their Chinese App Store because they were illegal according to Chinese law / did not have a license of the MiiT*.

VPN's (Virtual Private Networks) allow users to circumvent the strict Chinese censorship laws. ExpressVPN stated on July 29 2017 that all major VPNs have been removed from the iOS store.

oh wao its really good

Interesting post, I love it

Its illegal because the Chinese do not want its citizen influenced by other race. They been doing this many years ago.

Virtual Private Networks support people's privacy, so I'm not surprised that China are against these apps. Chinese government is obsessed about controlling people. They want to know everything. But it's not possible, even for them. Thanks for your article @shla-rafia.
