NASA needs your help by taking a snapshot of the sky. The photos are needed to validate data from six Earth observatory instrument on different satellite.
These instruments are part of a project called Cloud and Earth Radiant System (CERES). The aim of the project is to get a better understanding on the role of clouds in climate change.
Now you can help NASA by participating, you can participate by simply downloading the 
Globe observer app, this app gives you a step by step instruction on how you will submit the photos you have gotten. It’s easy and you can use your smartphone camera.
NASA has given from now till April 15th for the submission of the photos.
