This Week in the Sndbox

Welcome to the 10th State of the Sndbox newsletter! So far this week, we’ve published the result of our October State of the Sndbox Thumbnail competition. We’ll be using @fuzztone’s awesome image for all of our October newsletters.

For a more thorough breakdown of what our members have been up to, be sure to go through our weekly Upvotes of the Week post that we publish each Monday.

Worldwide Growth

Since the launch of Sndbox, we’ve been receiving requests to translate resource and community-oriented posts for other language communities. One of our members @monomyth systematized translation for the Turkish community on their community page @tach. Many posts have been translated to several languages at various times. With our recent post, we wanted to officially open the option up for the global Steemit community to use our resources in their languages.

If you want to translate the embedded images as well into your local language, please reach out to us in the comments and Steemit.chat (@voronoi / @hansikhouse). We will compile the language variations in a future post.

Launch of the Sndbox.co Website

Last week we officially launched the Sndbox.co website to the Steemit community and the world! One of the biggest challenges that we’re trying to take on is connecting real-world opportunity and impact with the potential and force of the Steemit. As we strive to accomplish this, the @sndbox website will serve as a comprehensive resource and landing page for those interested in blockchain, cryptocurrency, Steemit, Sndbox members and their projects. Through these things, we aim to create a powerful showcase, illustrating the big picture of what this community can achieve.

The website will be the nexus of blockchain-related resources and Sndbox member activities. You can read up about our announcement and our walkthrough post.

Hi @younushaw, I see you are a new member of Steemit, welcome aboard! A quick note - asking people for upvotes doesn't work very well, and sometimes leads to getting flagged (which is not good!) It's better to leave thoughtful comments and begin a conversation :)

If you're still figuring your way around Steemit - take a look at these tips and tutorials:

yes,you are right. I think asking vote is like begging and sometimes it looks very odd.

Dear younushaw, ask not what SndBox can do for you, but think about what you can do for SndBox.

It can be a little strange to adapt to that mindset, but in all honesty and from personal experience: you won't regret it.

Thanks for the support @fitzgibbon!
