Welcome to the 12th State of the Sndbox newsletter! So far this week, we’ve published a new toolkit, announced developments in our new coworking space, and highlighted the growth and development of our Sndcastle projects!

What is the Steemit Reputation Score?
Ever wonder what the number hovering next to your account name was? In this week’s toolkit post, we explain and playfully illustrate the meaning of Steemit’s Reputation Score. As an immediately evident but lesser clarified metric of the Steemit interface, we attempted a community-oriented depiction.

Sndcastle Update and Spotlight
A number of weeks after launching Sndbox, we quickly incorporated a structure that would also help communities grow and mobilize social impact. Some of these accelerators were already existing prior to Sndbox and were seeking support, others have been formed over the last few weeks. We call these our Sndcastle Accelerator Hubs and you can read about the initial launch and ideas here. We’ve added 3 more major Sndcastles since then - @myach, @indo-community, @steemph.cebu - and you can read about our updated endeavors and structure here.
We’ve also begun to cultivate, support and highlight individual projects by our Sndcastles, including the most recent World Food Day Fundraiser by @steemph.cebu.
New Space, New Opportunities
In early September, the Sndbox team moved into the brand new coworking space in Brooklyn - 100 Bogart. With all of their flexible spaces, conference rooms, and social amenities, Sndbox is excited to finally share some of our experiences and goals in using the space. Over time, we will strive to make 100 Bogart a STEEM-friendly place of innovation and community.
This past Monday evening, we hosted the first of many future workshops that help train 100 Bogart coworkers and New York City residents to use the crypto and get started on Steemit. We’ve even had a few members start using Steemit right away with @jac4b and @alexjacoby.

What to Look Out For This Week

Hey @Sndbox! I really admire the work and impact Sndbox as an entity creates and I feel it makes a massive impact on the Steemit community as a whole.
The design stylings of Sndbox has inspired me to try and take a few pointers on how amazing design can be achieved within a simplistic format such as Steemit.
The Sndbox movement has, in part, led to me going all-in with Steemit and taking a leap of faith which I just posted in my blog post which I mentioned Sndbox's impact of that decision.

Regardless, I will be following Sndbox and keeping up to date as I sincerely love what you guys are doing.
