7.2 magnitude earthquake shook Mexico

A big earthquake hit the southern and central Mexico of Mexico. However, there were no reports of major damage.The city of Mexico City shook along with the earthquake on Friday. Thousands of people in the city came down the street. The earthquake was also felt in the states of Oaxaca, Guerrero, Puebla, and Kwokama.

Mexico's National Seismological Survey and the US Geological Survey said that the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.2 on the Richter scale. But there is no known loss of any major earthquake.

In September last year, 465 people died in the devastating earthquake.
