Gunmen attacked in Pakistan

Nine people were killed in an attack by Taliban gunmen in Pakistan's Peshawar College. 35 people were injured. The number of casualties is expected to increase further.

The news agency Reuters reported that three gunmen entered the Peshawar Agricultural Training Institute this Friday. After the police and army's two-hour operation, all the attackers have been killed, according to the military authorities. Most of the casualties are known to be students.

Peshawar police chief Muhammad Tahir Khan said gunmen entered the college campus after a burqa after a battery-operated auto rickshaw. Before firing on the campus they fired at the security guard at the gate. The securityman was seriously injured in this.

It is said in the report that Taliban Pakistan has given a statement acknowledging the responsibility of the incident. Taliban spokesman Mohammad Khorasani said in the statement that the Pakistani military intelligence agency targeted the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
