The High Court has issued a rule to know why the Joy Bangla slogan will not be ordered to declare 'national slogan and original ministry'.

The High Court bench of Justice Qazi Reza-Ul Haque and Justice Mohammad Ullah issued the rule on Monday on the preliminary hearing of a writ petition.

The High Court has asked the Cabinet Secretary, Law Secretary and Education Secretary to reply within 72 hours.

He said, Joy Bangla is not the slogan of any party, not the slogan of any person, it is the symbol of national unity and inspiration of the Bengalis.

"There are national slogans in 60 countries around the world. But the misfortune of Bangladesh is that we did not get the joy of our consciousness as a national slogan in the forty-six years of independence. "

The lawyer said that the matter will again come to the hearing on Sunday.
