With this novelty, Google tries to make features independent for each platform.
Recently Google has released the latest update for Gboard on iOS system, which brings Google Maps and YouTube to the keyboard. Now, instead of typing an address, simply press the G button and release a map link in the conversation, shortening the copy and paste process.
Likewise, a YouTube tab has been included that allows users to share videos and a function called Ink, which can be drawn as done with the standard iOS keyboard in landscape mode.
These new features for now are exclusive to Gboard keyboard in iOS. On Android said keyboard offers the possibility to predict complete sentences and identify 'emojis' hand drawn, options not available on iPhone devices.
The new features of Google Maps and YouTube are part of the latest GOS update for iOS, which is now available on the App Store.
Finally, it is known that Google has indicated that its GOS keyboard for iOS now also supports 3 new languages: Arabic, Hebrew and Persian.
